Buxmead

Ian Waller advised on the decorative plaster detailing for Buxmead, an ultra‑luxury apartment development on The Bishops Avenue — retaining an ornate Edwardian façade while creating lavish communal spaces beneath. His expertise helped tie classical period elements into a modern Art Deco–inspired interior scheme.

Juniper Hill

Ian Waller was engaged to advise on the transformation of Juniper Hill, a Grade II listed country house in Surrey. His consultancy guided the design and detailing of a dramatic double-height dining room, complete with an elliptical dome, decorative palm columns and intricate vaulted ceilings.

Mill House

Ian Waller was appointed to advise on the restoration and decorative reimagining of Mill House, a Georgian Grade II listed property near Olney in Buckinghamshire. Working alongside the interior designer, Ian helped deliver a highly personalised and beautifully balanced plasterwork scheme for what would become the owners’ dream home.

Tyringham Hall

Ian Waller was appointed to advise on the reinstatement of Sir John Soane’s original Tribune at Tyringham Hall – a significant early example of Soane’s architectural thinking. Working closely with the architect and contractor, Ian helped recreate this highly complex, three-dimensional plasterwork arrangement with authenticity and precision.

Ian Waller was invited to collaborate on the reimagining of Villa Maenza — a large 19th-century Georgian villa in Bedford, noted for its listed plasterwork and grand interiors.
